Hello,
I am Anastasiia Allagulova

and I am psychologist.

I am also a specialist in treating eating disorders and peer consultant

(from age 12 to 26, I suffered from purging anorexia).
I have a keen sense of justice and good taste, including in clothing (!) I talk a lot about women's rights and generally about humanistic values because this is especially important in the context of eating disorders. I also read Orwell, ifyouknowwhatimean.
I run my column in a cool women's media and lead webinars.
Situationally, I rescue cats and kittens, which isn't very exciting, but my heart breaks otherwise (I actually love all animals!).
I have very good education and long experience in the profession, continuous personal therapy, and regular supervision.

It all started in 2012 when I had co-created a psychological support service for LGBT that grew into a wonderful project "LGBTQIA Resource Moscow," which lasted until November 2023.

For example, here’s what we work with:
  • Relationship problems
    Child-parent, friend, romantic, sexual (!) relationships with an abuser.
  • Eating disorders
    Anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive overeating.
  • Procrastination
    Problems with time management, difficulties with falling asleep.
  • Lack of self-confidence
    High self-criticism, perfectionism, feelings of guilt and shame, sense of worthlessness, dissatisfaction with own appearance.
  • Gender and sexuality
    Self-acceptance, internalized homophobia, relationships with family and friends, seeking romantic relationships.
  • Emotions and feelings
    Mixed feelings, difficulties in emotional regulation, outbursts of anger, frequent crying, high anxiety, self-harming behavior, suicidal thoughts.
